Three springs farm - lynchburg, Virginia

Three Springs Farm, located in Lynchburg, VA, grows over two acres of fresh produce and wildflowers on a family farm dating to 1886. The farm was part of the Early estate that was purchased by our great great grandfather Robert Calhoun Burkholder who was the leading architect in Lynchburg . He was also an learned horticulturist interested in all plants and maintained over 100 hives of bees. His love of the earth has been now passed down many generations where we are currently the stewards of what he started so many years ago.
Three Springs Farm practices pesticide free pest management and buried drip irrigation to lessen the impact on the environment. We practice crop rotation and plant cover crops to enhance the natural fertility of the soil. We feel through our efforts that we offer the best quality and safest produce available locally. Virginia has 47,000 family farms. We are only one of 1400 farms in Virginia recognized for being in operation for over 100 years. Ours is a commitment to the past, present and the future to always produce the best and safest produce available.
